Police Crime Maps

Crime mapping provides an efficient mechanism for the police department to show general crime trends to the community.  The incidents displayed are for the three month period dating back one full month prior to the current date.  Only crime that occurred in the jurisdiction of the New Castle County Police is mapped.  Generally, this is any crime that occurred in a neighborhood or at an address on a secondary road in unincorporated areas of New Castle County.  If the crime occurred in a city or town that is patrolled by another police department, or if the crime occurred on a state numbered roadway or in a commercial area, it is not in the jurisdiction of the New Castle County Police.
