Art Studio - New Castle County

New Castle County offices will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday, May 27.

The Art Studio is the fine arts education center of New Castle County's Department of Community Services. We offer a wide variety of art classes. Take a look at current catalog by clicking on the Register Online button!

Kaleidoscope Open Studio now on Monday!

The Art Therapy Express Program Inc. (Kaleidoscope Studio) will host weekly open studio time from 1pm to 3pm every Monday, allowing participants to create their own art projects at their own pace. Individuals wanting to participate in open studio time will be asked to contribute a minimum donation of $1.00 to help cover materials costs.

Program Highlights

Clayworks and Pottery

Our clayworks and pottery classes will teach you modeling/sculpting, throwing, potter's wheel techniques, and glazing.

Photography

Learn the basics of photography, how to maximize the potential of you digital camera, how to take more exciting photos and more.

Drawing and Painting

The Art Studio offers many classes for drawing and painting throughout the year.

Other Activities
