Public Safety Related Boards and Commissions

The following public boards and commissions are responsible for making recommendations and/or decisions on public safety laws and judgments related to the County’s volunteer fire companies. All board meetings are open to the public.

Fire and Ambulance

The Fire and Ambulance board represents the needs of the County volunteer fire, ambulance, and rescue services before the County Executive, County Council and the County government.
