Teen Art Workshop: Stencils & Stamps

Saturday, July 20th

Use a wide variety of materials to make stamps and stencils. Make patterns, logos, and designs, and then transfer them to rubber or make cut-outs and use these to create prints using ink and paint on paper. Keep your stencil and stamp for future use.

Rainforest Rendezvous

Friday, July 22nd
7:00 p.m.

Come to the library to dig into the amazing world of the rainforest. You and your child will learn about its plants and animals and how they have adapted to this wet and wonderful environment.  Decorate the layers of the rainforest, make a tree frog, and a jaguar mask. See if you can identify the members of the rainforest food chain, and play the animal adaptations game.
Recommended for children ages 4 and older.

ENDANGERED SPECIES: WILMER THE WHALE!
