Book Discussion - In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto

In The Omnivore's Dilemma, Michael Pollan launched a national controversy about the American way of eating; now, in In Defense of Food, he shows us how to change it, one meal at a a time.  Pollan proposes a new answer to the question of what we should eat that comes down to seven simple but liberating words:  "Eat food.  Not too much.  Mostly plants."

Free Computer Classes in Spanish

Free computer classes in Spanish for teens and adults ages 16 and older will be available on Tuesday, October 20, 27 &  Tuesday,November 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 7:00-8:30 pm.  Registration  for the classes will begin SEPTEMBER 30TH. Call 838-3300 to register.

Story Times

Jitterbugs is for children ages 18-24 months. Registration for the next session begins each Monday.  11am. Call 838-3300 for more information or to register.
Preschool Story Time is for ages 3-6, each tuesday at 10:15am. There is no registration.
Pajama Story Time is a special story time for families, there is no registration. Each Tuesdays at 6:30pm. No registration.
Time for Twos is for children ages 24-36 months. There is no registration. Thursdays at 10:30am. There will be NO Time for Twos Thursday, November 12th.
