I Dig Buried Treasure!

Monday, June 24th
2pm

Dressed for metal detecting action, I will demonstrate to the audience the reality of the treasure that is to be found beneath their very feet – at school, where they worship, in parks, in their yards at home, and in their neighborhoods – and how to find and preserve it. Displays of what I have unearthed (coins, artifacts, jewelry, and more!) will entice the audience to try this hobby out for themselves, even as I was so inspired, and will fire their imaginations long after the program is concluded. And what a “sneaky” way to teach some history…!
