SNOW AND HOLIDAY CLOSING

The New Castle County Libraries will close at 5pm on Friday, February 5 and will be closed on Saturday, February 6 and Sunday, February 7 due to the incoming snow. We will also be closed Monday, February 8 in honor of Lincoln's Birthday. We apologize for any inconvenience.

New Castle Public Library Moving

The temporary location of the New Castle Library will be closing for business on 2/14/2010. They will re-open at their permanent home at 424 Delaware Street on 3/20/2010.

Abraham Lincoln Murder Case

A talk and slide show by historian Roger Arthur, detailing the events surrounding the most important crime of the 19th century: the plot to kill President Lincoln, the attack on Secretary of State William Seward, the escape of the assassins and their capture, trial, and execution.

PAWS for People
