New Castle County Family Resource Fair

You are cordially invited to take part in the inaugural New Castle County Family Resource Fair. The fair is designed to provide parents, caregivers and the community-at-large with a single point of access to resources that support the needs of children of all ages. Local, county and state non-profit organizations will be disseminating information about their programs and services at this family-friendly event.
 
There will be lots of fun for children of all ages with door prizes, a face/hand painting station, strolling book characters and a craft station.

Family Programs

PAWS for Reading:  Registration is required for your 15-minute reading session with a PAWS dog.  Ages 5 and up.  Wednesdays at 7 p.m.: 3/7 and 21; 4/4 and 18; 5/2 and 16.
 
Toddler Tales:  Stories and action rhymes for toddlers (18-36 months).  Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m.  Registration required. 
 
Storybook Party with Terry Colonna:  Enjoy stories and make-and-take activities.  Ages 4-10.  Monday, April 30, at 4 p.m.: El dia de los Ninos; Monday, May 7, at 4 p.m.: Children's Book Week.  Registration requested.
 
Creativity Exploration for Homseschoolers:  Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1: Anything but a Brush; Tuesday, May 15: Not a Box; Tuesday, May 29: Poetic Portraits.  Ages 4-17.  Registration requested.
 
Clay Creations:  Register for this two-session NCC Art Studio session to design, carve, and glaze your own clay tile.  Ages 6-12.  Tuesday, May 1 and Tuesday, May 8, at 4:30 p.m.  Registration required.
