SNOW AND HOLIDAY CLOSING

The New Castle County Libraries will close at 5pm on Friday, February 5 and will be closed on Saturday, February 6 and Sunday, February 7 due to the incoming snow. We will also be closed Monday, February 8 in honor of Lincoln's Birthday. We apologize for any inconvenience.

New Castle Public Library Moving

The temporary location of the New Castle Library will be closing for business on 2/14/2010. They will re-open at their permanent home at 424 Delaware Street on 3/20/2010.

In 1886, piano tuner Edgar Drake leaves London for the jungles of Burma, where he has been asked to repair a grand piano belonging to a British Army officer who uses the piano and music to help keep the peace among warring local Burmese princes.
