Property check of parkland leads to drug arrest
New Castle County Police have arrested Joseph Greigg, a 20 year old male who resides in the unit block of Copa Lane in Wilmington. He has been charged with felony drug offenses after police found him in a county parkland after dark and later found to be in possession of 52 bags of marijuana.

Elderly couple assaulted during armed robbery
New Castle County Police are currently investigating the physical attack and robbery of a 79 year old male and his wife (54), which occurred in the 1600 block of Bonwood Road in Alban Park Apartments. Both victims were robbed, pushed to the ground and suffered injuries.

Carjacking suspect arrested
New Castle County Detectives have arrested Michael Head, a 40 year old male who resides in the 200 block of Kirkwood Highway in Newark, DE. He has been charged with the attempted carjacking and the assault of a 61 year old female who was knocked to the ground and suffered a broken rib after he tried to steal her car last Saturday.

Car stop leads to drug bust, car seized
New Castle County Police have arrested Dahmear Johnson, a 20 year old male who resides in the unit block of Phillip Court in Claymont. He has been charged with felony drug and weapon offenses after police found he was in possession of 17 Oxycodone pills, a large illegal knife, and drug paraphernalia after his car was stopped for an illegal window tint.

National Night Out
The New Castle County Police Citizen Advisory Councils are proud to, once again, announce their participation in the 27th Annual National Night Out. This event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, will take place on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at two locations: Delcastle Parkland on McKennas Church Road, Wilmington and Woodshaven Kruse Park on Darley Road, Claymont. Last year, 36 million people participated nationwide.

New Castle County Police have arrested Ronald Jones, a 38 year old male who resides in the unit block of W. Plover Drive in Newark, DE. He has been charged with one count of indecent exposure and one count of lewdness after he exposed his penis to a female who was visiting the Bear Library.

Home invasion suspect steals tools, Rottweiler
New Castle County Police have arrested Mark Waters, a 41 year old male who resides in the 2700 block of N. Pine Street in Wilmington. He has been charged with multiple felony offenses after he forced his way into a Simonds Gardens home and threatened a resident with a hammer. Prior to fleeing, Waters stole some power tools and the victim’s Rottweiler. He was arrested a short distance later while walking the dog and carrying the tools.
