Juvenile Shot and Female Assaulted as a Result of a Robbery

New Castle County Police have arrested two Newark men for felony offenses after a female was pistol whipped in the community of Christiana Green and then a vehicle chase ensued onto Old Baltimore Pike. The suspect vehicle pulled alongside and several rounds were fired at the victim’s vehicle striking a juvenile in the head. Kyle Barrett (19) and Cody Simpson (23) were both apprehended after their car crashed into a ditch.

Shooting suspect identified, arrested

New Castle County Detectives have arrested Warren May, an 18 year old male who resides in the unit block of Baylis Street in the Maple Hill Townhouses in New Castle, DE.  He has been charged with assault in the first degree and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.  This was a result of a shooting that occurred after a party in the Timber Farms Community, which left a 20 year old male in critical condition.

Security officer aids in apprehension of suspects

New Castle County Police have arrested Samuel Ayers, a 25 year old male and Frankie Fisher, a 22 year old male, both of which reside in the unit block of Winterhaven Drive in the Autumn Park Apartments, Newark, DE.  They both have been charged with criminal trespass, theft, and other related charges after a Security Officer from the Reserve at Forest Gate Apartments detained the subjects as they were seen trespassing on the property.

New Castle County Detectives have arrested Michael Head, a 40 year old male who resides in the 200 block of Kirkwood Highway in Newark, DE.  He has been charged with the attempted carjacking and the assault of a 61 year old female who was knocked to the ground and suffered a broken rib after he tried to steal her car last Saturday.

Home invasion suspect steals tools, Rottweiler

New Castle County Police have arrested Mark Waters, a 41 year old male who resides in the 2700 block of N. Pine Street in Wilmington.  He has been charged with multiple felony offenses after he forced his way into a Simonds Gardens home and threatened a resident with a hammer.  Prior to fleeing, Waters stole some power tools and the victim’s Rottweiler.  He was arrested a short distance later while walking the dog and carrying the tools.
