Outdoor Area Rentals

Rockwood offers lovely outdoor spaces that are available for rent, each offering a unique setting. See the descriptions below to determine the area that is appropriate for your special ceremony or event.

Verandah / South Lawn

This area offers the following features:

Covered porch surrounding the back of the Mansion with a grand view of the garden
Large sunny lawn below with numerous blooming shrubs and trees on the periphery

This area can accommodate groups of up to 250 people.

North Lawn

The North Lawn is the "front yard" of the Mansion. It features a large grassy area surrounded by mature shade trees, a massive Rhodondron and great views of the mansion.

Suitable for groups up to 150 people

Portico

This area offers a small covered porch on the east side of the Mansion adjacent to the conservatory.

Best for groups of 50 or less.

Meadow Gazebo

Located on the lower part of the property in convenient proximity to parking, the Meadow Gazebo is a beautiful location for a larger ceremony. A shaded open field surrounds this gazebo and historic stone walls are the backdrop.

This area can accommodate up to 200 people
