Register of Wills - Ciro Poppiti, III

Ciro Poppiti, III was elected Register of Wills in November 2010. He was born and raised in New Castle County and is a graduate of Salesianum School, Princeton University and Widener Law School. He is a member of Delaware Bar and before becoming Register, practiced in the area of estate law. In 2007, Ciro was recognized for being a civic activist and received the Wilmington Award from Mayor Baker for outstanding community service. He is active in the Italian-American community and was the founding chairman of the Delaware Commission on Italian Heritage and Culture.  Ciro writes frequently and has written a regular column for several publications over the years. Ciro and his wife Laura live in north Wilmington with their two children, Jake and Louise.
